Trendy Topics: May Virtual Luncheon Featuring Cherri Ellis

May 20, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Overcoming Adversity, Marketing Through Video, and Strategies For Success During COVID-19

The Birmingham Chapter of the American Marketing Association will host our May luncheon as a virtual webinar. This month we are featuring Cherri Ellis, National Creative Strategy Director for Kernel, the internal agency of Spectrum Reach. Cherri originally planned on talking about “The Five Videos Every Business Needs”, but she has updated her presentation based on our current circumstances. Cherri’s presentation will cover:

  • Her incredible personal story of overcoming adversity
  • Best practices for marketing through video
  • Strategies for success during COVID-19

You do not want to miss Cherri’s amazing story at the insight that she brings to the challenges that we are facing.

Register for the webinar, make a sandwich, and join us for our first-ever virtual luncheon. For the first time ever, our luncheon is free (except for the cost of your sandwich)!

More About Our Speaker

Cherri Ellis leads a team of strategists and creative professionals who provide data driven insights to clients and production personnel so that their messages are on point, their assets are impactful, and their business goals are met.

Since receiving her B.F.A. from Wright State University, Cherri has exclusively worked in creative arenas; live theater, talent work, eight years as a monthly magazine columnist, and 3 years as morning drive personality Cherri Mason on the top-rated Mason and Dixon Morning Show on Classic Rock 99.

Now with Spectrum Reach over 18 years, Cherri specializes in non-profit creative assets. She has worked with 501c3s as large as the American Cancer Society and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama, but some of her favorite work has been with small, first year non-profits at the onset of their journey . She most recently worked with One Place to create critical video training for law enforcement on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

She is a grateful recipient of multiple industry awards and lives between Birmingham, Alabama and Fernandina Beach with her husband, cat, and the world’s worst trained golden retriever. Amongst pursuits such as traveling, cooking, and joining then quitting fitness facilities, she spends many of her off hours attempting to long distance helicopter-parent her adult daughter.
