From a textile Engineering Degree at Auburn with an expected future at Avondale Mills, the great grandson of its founder and Alabama Governor, Braxton Bragg Comer, Bew began a life long entrepreneurial pursuit of excellence in home goods leading to the industry’s leading brand.

Bew has opened plants in Chile 1989 to 1995, and Mexico from 1993 to 2000. He has been to China 29 times from 1998 to 2014, and has captive factories in Dalian, Heshan and Shunde. A lifetime of developing innovative materials, his latest is a sustainable product made of rice hulls and mineral spirits called Resysta, made in a plant in Indonesia.

Coupled with how his legacy William White remarkably founded the industry leading Gabby brand in the pit of a crippling recession marks a dynasty of Alabama rainmaker’s.

Alabama’s largest home goods importer, the company houses a full service marketing and PR department, largest internal furniture design department in the industry, and manufactures product in 8 countries.
