SUMMARY:Trendy Topics: Building Client Relationships While Quarantined - with Marketing Book Podcast Host Douglas Burdett
DESCRIPTION:Douglas Burdett is the host of The Marketing Book Podcast which was listed by Forbes as one of eleven smart podcasts that will keep you in the know.  LinkedIn says The Marketing Book Podcast is one of ten podcasts that will make you a better marketer. Douglas was one of our most popular speakers in 2019\, and he has unique insights into building strong relationships with clients accustomed to face-to-face interactions. Having interviewed more than 275 authors of the top books on sales and marketing\, Douglas has a broad perspective for strategies that we can use during the current crisis to stay connected. \nOur topic was inspired by a question that we received from an attendee at last week’s Trendy Topics Webinar. \n“We are accustomed to meeting with our clients who are mostly out of state\, in person. And I’ve noticed that some of the relationships are struggling because we are not able to meet with our clients in person. We are only able to meet via zoom. Recommendations on how to continue to nurture relationships from afar?” \nNobody knows more about creative marketing and communications strategies than Douglas\, and we are excited to explore this on Wednesday at noon. \nJoin us for the upcoming Webinar on Wednesday\, April 22nd! Send questions for Douglas to jamie.parris@amabirmingham.org. \nRegister For the Webinar! \n
