Candace Broeker serves our Board of Directors as Social Media Vice Chair. We are happy to spotlight Candace and her exciting new job as Sr. Marketing and Recruiting Consultant for PrideStaff.

Tell us about your new job, what are your responsibilities?

My new job is so fulfilling! I recruit candidates and help match them with companies and positions that best fit their skill set. I’m essentially “marketing people” and helping them along their career path. It’s rewarding and allows me to utilize my communication and marketing experience.

What do you like most about what you do?
I love helping people and creating a match for our candidates and clients.

How long have you been a member of AMA?

I’ve been a member of AMA for nearly two years.

How long have you been a board member and what do you do on the board?

This is my second year on the board. I am the Vice President of Social Media.

How has AMA helped you in your career path?

AMA has been such an incredible resource for me. It’s allowed me to connect with marketing professionals from many different industries and has created a great community of friends.

Give us a fun fact about you or something most people wouldn’t know about you?

I’m color blind! I have a red and green deficiency, but don’t worry, I can still distinguish traffic lights :).  

We are sure that the motorists in the Birmingham area are glad that Candace can distinguish between light colors, but we are SUPER proud of her accomplishments and glad that she is a member of our Bham AMA family!
